SUMMARY
Assists customers via telephone, email, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Duties
- Answer incoming inquiry calls and in rare occasions, in person, from Customers in a professional manner
- Fill out Rx order forms and quote prices
- Adjust complaints concerning billing and services rendered
- Refer complaints of service failures to designated department managers for investigation
- Locate an order's current or past position in the facility by looking in computer system
- Tag trays when necessary
- Pull original invoices for redo's, enter redo orders over phone, issue credits for redo's
- Give estimated finish times, monitor own "promise jobs" and notify customers of delays
- Archive prior work for restarts per doctors instructions
Secondary Duties
- Cross-train to help where needed and as directed by the Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience
- Experience in a Customer Service-type role, preferably in the Optical Industry
- Some Optical Experience required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to represent the company in a professional manner
- Able and willing to work as a team
- Great communication, problem solving and follow through skills, basic Math
- Must be able to work Overtime when needed
- Able to read and write English Language well (Bilingual helpful, but not required)
- Able to memorize large amounts of data accurately
- Must possess basic computer knowledge and be able to use it effectively
