The Project Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, research and development, and other departments driving project success and operational efficiency.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Builds and leads project timeline, defines the critical path, tracks activities to ensure functional team members meet agreed-upon deadlines, generates and communicates status reports, and escalates critical issues.
- Leads project teams and provides clear direction, guidance, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitates team meetings in-person and virtual
- Identifies and resolves any issues or risks that may impact project delivery.
- Support Product Trials by facilitating the pre-post trial meetings and providing on-site support Operations.
- Develop strong relationships and collaborates effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Actively manage project lifecycle and provide regular status updates
- Ensure project objectives align with overall business strategies
- Monitors deliverables to meet intended outcomes and adjust accordingly to meet Company results
- Adheres to the Management of the Change process with key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Provides ongoing training of the Manage of Change process and supporting tools
- Possess a level of product knowledge
- Support Continuous improvement efforts by providing an open, collaborative space to lead after-action reviews that identify areas of improvement and highlight best practices.
- Up to 25% travel required
- Other duties assigned by your manager
- BA/BS Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations research, or related field or relevant experience.
- MBA preferred.
- CAPM or greater preferred
- APICS CPIM and CSCP certification preferred
- Proven experience of 3-7 years in Project Management, preferably in Operations Management/Supply Chain Management, and experience with cross-functional teams.
- SAP experience preferred
- Advanced project management skills utilizing Microsoft Project and other tools (Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills, including motivating and inspiring team members.
- Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work, with minimal oversite
- Apply leadership, coaching, and influencing skills to run cross-functional teams and drive multiple projects forward, ensuring time, prioritization, and resources are used effectively and efficiently to meet project and business objectives.
- This is a hybrid position based in the Central New York area.
- For candidates based in NY this position typically pays between $93K - $106k.
