As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare to patients under the supervision of a physician. Your duties will include:
- Conducting physical examinations and taking detailed medical histories
- Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as medical imaging
- Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses and injuries
- Prescribing medications and other treatments
- Administering vaccinations and immunizations
- Performing procedures such as venipuncture and wound care
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educating patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in medical records management systems, such as Cerner or Athenahealth
- Knowledge of aseptic technique for sterile procedures
- Experience with psychopharmacology for mental health treatment
- Ability to perform tube feeding for patients who require nutritional support
- Competence in basic life support techniques for emergency situations
