What are the responsibilities and job description for the HOUSEMAN | $13-14 | WEEKLY PAY | MONTGOMERY position at HQD?
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture, and replenishing amenities
- Ensure all areas of the hotel are kept clean and tidy, including hallways, lobbies, and common areas
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, such as shampooing carpets and washing windows
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and bathrooms
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Provide excellent customer service to guests and address any concerns or requests promptly
Experience:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of housekeeping management techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and products
- Understanding of floor care techniques and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of custodial practices in a hospitality setting is a plus
