Accounting Supervisor

We seek a highly motivated, experienced, hands-on Accounting Supervisor with at least 5 years of experience to join our Accounting team. As an Accounting Supervisor, you will oversee the company's financial accounts, ensure the accuracy of day-to-day financial transactions, and ensure compliance with proper accounting procedures to meet financial objectives.

Duties:

• Reconciliation of company accounts and management of the month-end close process
• Prepare financial statements and analysis for the company
• Maintain and supervise all accounting procedures and processes
• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements
• Record and analyze financial information for accurate reporting
• Oversee budget preparation, reporting, and analysis
• Document and present complex financial data to executives
• Advise on financial procedures and help develop systems and solutions
• Plan and forecast according to fiscal needs
• Monitor and document day-to-day financial transactions
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Coordinate with senior management and external accounting firms on the preparation of annual tax returns

Qualifications:

• BA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounting Supervisor or similar role
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks) Or Other
• Experience with software system implementation is a plus
• Strong understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control principles, and GAAP
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong ability to manage employees and oversee large projects
• High levels of accountability and leadership abilities
• Strong references or letters of recommendation
