Small, casual, friendly packaging sales office that has been in business for over 40 years seeks a full charge bookkeeper/administrator with 4 years experience to join our team of long term, dedicated staff. Must learn how to use our computerized bookkeeping system and be proficient in using Adobe and Excel. Part-time work is a possibility but this job must be onsite ( during extremely bad weather the work can be done remotely). Indeed assessment test for bookkeeping and attention to detail to be submitted.
DAILY DUTIES:
. A/R - processing customer invoices, making bank deposits
. A/P - enter vendor invoices and process vendor payments using credit cards and/or issuing checks,
. Adobe Acrobat and Excel
General ledger entries when necessary
MONTHLY DUTIES:
. prepare monthly and yearly sales tax
. Post monthly and year end entries to G/L
. bank reconciliations, account reconciliations
. salesmen commissions
. payroll entries
AS NEEDED:
. Administrative and clerical duties e.g. filing invoices, scanning,
. Credit Insurance report.
NEEDED SKILLS TO INCLUDE:
. Excel, Word, Adobe; be detailed oriented and able to multi-task
MISCELLANEOUS:
. Benefits also include a discretionary bonus
Can work remotely during extremely bad weather.
