Job Overview: We are currently looking for a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations by efficiently and safely handling materials using a forklift. Responsibilities: - Operate a forklift to transport, stack, and organize materials within the warehouse. - Conduct regular inspections on the forklift equipment before and after use. - Load and unload products from trucks or containers with precision. - Safely stack and store merchandise in designated locations. - Ensure accuracy in inventory management during receiving, storing, and shipping processes. - Maintain a clean and orderly work environment to uphold safety standards. Skills: - Prior experience working as a Forklift Operator or in a similar capacity is preferred. - Possession of a valid forklift certification is required. - Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts including Hi-Lo, Clamp truck, Order picker, and Pallet jack. - Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and moving bulky items. - Knowledge of basic math for inventory control purposes. - Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to forklift operation is advantageous. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
