This is hourly paid job between 45$-$65 US Remote
Our company is looking for a Finance Intern to join our team.
Responsibilities
Supporting corporate financing activities;
Preparing annual budgets, and understanding key trends in business unit resource utilization;
Analyzing drivers of historical financial performance, including key trends that are impacting the business;
Perform other duties and cross training as assigned;
Facilitate root cause determination, complete accident investigations and implementation of corrective action activities;
Perform all job duties in a safe manner and obeys all safety policies and procedures;
Prepare is various moth end close procedures;
Assist with communicating results and findings to all sites within the Northern Bureau;
Create presentations for finance and board meetings;
Further develop performance dashboards as well as combined Northern Bureau dashboards;
Other projects as needed;
Daily Accounting functions including Accounts Payables;
Assist in preparing accurate, meaningful reports on an ad hoc basis for senior management;
Support the organization while learning about a career in finance;
Tax.
Requirements
Good technical and project management skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects and daily responsibilities;
Stronger focus on safety than environmental;
Experience working at an ISO 9001 facility;
Obtain solutions through independent analysis;
Project Planning Skills;
Familiarity with QuickBooks is desirable but not essential;
Develop an understanding of how an FP&A team functions including systems, processes, and people;
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Access;
Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
Familiarity with cost accounting and the relationship to revenue recognition;
Detail oriented;
The ability to prioritize multiple assignments and to handle complex tasks in a fast-paced environment;
Highly organized;
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and intermediate formulas (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.);
Improved soft and technical skills.
