The Quality Systems Specialist:
Execute and monitor all quality systems activities to ensure compliance and product quality.
Participate in the creation, implementation, and monitoring of processes to ensure product specifications are met.
Support, monitor, and work with operational areas to reduce errors and identify opportunities for improvement.
Participate in and ensure the effective and timely execution of the organizational corrective action/preventive action (CAPA) process.
Qualify and monitor suppliers and service providers. Perform and facilitate internal, external, and supplier audits.
Observe, review, and analyze processes to ensure quality standards are upheld throughout the organization at all times.
Compile and present key quality data/metrics to drive a culture of continuous improvement that is fully compliant with all applicable requirements and business needs.
Execute quality systems-related training for all departments and participates in new process/product implementation teams within the organization.
Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in quality control, quality assurance, clinical laboratory, blood banking, tissue banking, or pharmaceutical/other manufacturing environments.
Work Environment/Physical Activities:
Periodic travel may be required.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable by Solvita insurance provider.
