We are looking for an Accounting Manager to be responsible for a wide range of activities, including day-to-day accounting responsibilities, driving accounting initiatives, and a variety of financial analyses and special projects which are currently managed by an external firm. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Initially ensures the quality, accuracy and timeliness of annual filings across our markets with the intention of gradually bringing these activities in-house
- Identifies and implements a cloud-based ERP system ensuring relevant integration with relevant internal systems
- Manages day-to-day accounting functions, billing, financial statements, cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and various analyses
- Oversees total financial planning including the preparation and analysis of budgets, cash flow, operating results
- Manages external accountants in production of statutory accounts
- Procures and implements of ERP
- Manages and produces ad-hoc management reporting
- Produces quarterly management accounts
- Builds and owns the US statutory financial accounting calendar
Qualifications:
- CPA credentials
- Preferred Locations: Norfolk, NE or Los Angeles, CA
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in an accounting role within a multinational corporation preferred
- Thorough detailed knowledge and application of US GAAP
- General experience of statutory reporting
- General experience of Group consolidation
- Strong managerial and leadership skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of Google Suite applications
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
