Grader Operator

Pay: $18-$30 per hour, DOE

Schedule: Full time, overtime available
Benefits available after 60 days!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Operate Grader to effectively complete all jobs assigned within designated time limit

· Prepare daily timecard with multiple tasks, machines, and employees, each itemized separately

· Maintain a clean and safe work area

· Identify hazards associated with task assignments and ask questions when clarification is needed.

· Direct laborers in assisting to complete job

· Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures

· Safety check of jobsite and equipment

· Basic maintenance and lubrication

· Pre-con Plans

· Staking/Blue Stakes review

· Water/Clean and Grub

· Cut and fill

· Locate pipe

· Sub grade or curb

· Road base curb

· Backfill curb

· Rough cut sidewalk

· Road base sidewalk

Qualifications:

· Must have 2 years of experience

· Must be able to show proof of age over 18, identity and right to work in the US

· Must be able to pass drug screen

· Must have valid driver license

· Must be familiar with the operation and minor maintenance of graders

· Good verbal communication skills

· Able to take orders and follow direction

· Willing to learn to run other types of heavy equipment

· Must be able to learn and retain information day to day

· Must be physically able to lift up to 100 lbs and perform considerable stooping, kneeling and digging
