What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Social Worker position at HRS?
Our special education classrooms are hiring!
We work with special educations students that are not successful in a traditional classroom and focus strongly on a proven behavioral management model to help students develop skills to transition back into general education. Our program has two classrooms. Each classroom has up to 8 students and the caseload for each social worker is a maximum of 20 students.
The candidate should have a strong work-ethic and be flexible. The candidate should also be able to learn and adapt to the PBIS model despite any previous training.
A school social worker provides both individual and group services to students in the school setting. Sessions focus on improving student social emotional and life skills, while also ensuring support is provided for school success.
A $3K sign-on bonus is available for this position.

Pay: $56,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
