As a Senior Wealth Planner, you will join the Wealth Planning and Advisory team, comprised of sales professionals that support the Wealth Planning needs of our U.S. Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) clients. This role will be responsible for developing long-term and trusting relationships with clients and their families, across domestic and international high net worth and ultra-high net worth relationships. You will actively identify opportunities to grow client relationships and will have extensive knowledge of our product suite, including Trusts, Insurance, and Credit, to support the needs of our clients. You will also serve as a spokesperson both internally and externally, and will promote wealth planning by producing timely, original thought leadership on trust, tax and estate planning, business succession planning, pre-immigration and expatriation planning, philanthropy, and family governance topics. You will lead colleagues across the organization to drive education on Wealth Planning and will be accountable for the Wealth Planning client experience, employee and client journey, and engagement across sales teams to deepen relationships and acquire new clients.

For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $143,400 and $250,900.
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

- Minimum 7 years of industry experience with proven track record in Wealth Planning-related business development, client experience, sales strategy, and performance management, including quantitative performance analysis.
- Extensive knowledge of the Wealth and Personal Banking business, domestic and international client needs, and in-depth knowledge of our competitive landscape and regulatory environment.
- Experience leading, managing, and coaching sales professionals in a changing environment, proactively addressing evolution in the industry.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with both clients and colleagues, demonstrating the ability to develop strong and productive relationships with clients, key senior management, and colleagues.
- Private practice experience, LLM, CPA or CFP preferred.
- Bi-lingual Spanish speaking preferred.
