We are seeking a skilled Gluer to join our team in providing foam fabricated parts to the furniture and transportation industry. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain gluing equipment, including glue guns, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Prepare surfaces for gluing by cleaning and applying adhesives according to product specifications.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure product quality and production efficiency.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Meet production quotas and quality standards to ensure on-time delivery of products.
- Report any issues or concerns to management to ensure that quality standards are met.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in foam fabrication or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of various gluing techniques and equipment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet production goals.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
