Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of production line workers, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure high performance and productivity levels.
• Plan and organize daily production schedules, allocating resources effectively to meet production targets and customer demands.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with ISO certification standards and quality control procedures to ensure that products meet or exceed the company's quality requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and procurement, to address production challenges, improve processes, and enhance product quality.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members, providing feedback, identifying areas for improvement, and recognizing outstanding contributions.
• Ensure the safety of all employees by enforcing safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety awareness throughout the production area.
• Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels of materials and supplies needed for production.
• Continuously monitor production metrics and KPIs to identify trends, implement process improvements, and optimize operational efficiency.
• Investigate and address any production issues or defects, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, promoting open communication, teamwork, and employee development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; additional technical certifications or training in manufacturing or production management is a plus.
• Proven experience as a supervisor or team leader in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive or seating industry.
• Thorough understanding of ISO certification standards and quality control processes.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of production workers.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage competing priorities and resolve production-related challenges.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members, management, and other departments.
• Proficiency in using computer applications such as MS Office and production management software.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
