Description:
The HIL Engineer - Senior will setup and maintain Hardware in the Loop benches for ADAS domain. In this area we require an engineer with a background in Electronics/Mechanics/Computer Engineering focusing on HIL simulations, on driver assistance systems and preferably, with a demonstrated knowledge of simulation tools and data analysis.
Requirements:
- Hybrid Role - Position is a combination of remote and onsite.
- Master of Science degree in Applied Physics, Controls, Mechanics, Electronics, Aerospace, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a related field.
- Working level knowledge of xIL tools and methodologies:
- Physical Plant (Vehicle modeling) Modelling and Virtual ECU Simulation.
- Simulation techniques: traffic models, sensor models, real-time systems.
- Component HIL Hardware I/O design and Setup.
- Multiprocessor HIL Architecture and Actuators/Sensors Interface.
- HIL Simulation with Vehicle integration.
- Integration of MIL/SIL models and ADAS sensors models with reuse of SIL scenarios and test database.
- Execute HIL closed loop simulation, Pre & Post process data based on common standard.
- Basic knowledge of the Electrical/Electronics vehicle (EE systems, power distribution, sensor interfaces).
- Ability to contribute to Agile Development Teams.
- Knowledge of Linux OS and of Python.
- Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink toolset.
- Strong interpersonal communication, team/leadership skills/experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working level knowledge of tools for simulation, data collection and analysis (for example dSPACE).
- Experience in structured design methods (for example DFSS certification or similar experience).
- Experience with Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration and testing infrastructure (e.g. SIL and HIL).
- Experience working with ADAS systems.
- Driver assistance systems, sensors, car bus systems, measuring technology, trace analytics.
- General working knowledge and previous exposure to safety-related methods like ISO26262, SOTIF, and Cybersecurity.
