If you are an experienced Product Owner who lives and breathes Product Information, digital marketing, ecommerce and/or project management, we want to talk to you. We are looking to hire an exceptional product owner focused on developing technology solutions and leading digital marketing initiatives to deliver an enhanced customer experience and platform that drives measurable business outcomes. This position will play a key role in the planning and delivery of our Product Information System and integration with our new digital website. The Product Owner is a critical part of our corporate digital marketing organization and is responsible for leading a team, identifying business requirements, functional design, process design and improvement, support delivery teams, and testing. Your role is aimed at driving growth and operational efficiency for Client.
This person will be responsible for the Digital Marketing Technology solutions that will be applied to our B2B and customer B2C verticals. You will collaborate across a global, multi-business unit product management, marketing, and corporate IT organization.
You should have a strong grasp of digital customer experience concepts and technologies and be able to lead a scrum team, develop business requirements and functional designs for integrated digital marketing projects from concept to execution.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Define, develop, and deliver Client Product Information Management (PIM) platform and capabilities. Assist in the creation of the PIM system design and function to support the new unified digital customer experience projects.
- Conceptualize the needs of the business and build PIM product roadmap and requirements.
- Assess the needs, opportunities, and pain points for the PIM technology ecosystem.
- Translate customer needs into high-level business requirements and associated functional/technical specifications. Deliver in a consistent cadence of releases.
- Analyze Product data attribute definitions and related management processes.
- Analyze current data governance process and suggest changes to accommodate new attributes/processes.
- Contribute to a cross-functional process for prioritizing, delivering, and launching major product releases and incorporating enhancement requests to existing features.
- Partner with Digital Marketing, IT and Business Stakeholders this role will collaborate and liaison with the business units and marketing managers to drive projects, roadmaps, strategies for PIM enhancements and Customer experience initiatives.
- Responsible for providing leadership to our project teams, driving the successful delivery of enhanced capabilities in the overall Customer Experience, Search, Content Management, and analytics.
- Support the development and implementation for the new digital website and digital experience platform. Provide technical expertise and assess web and product content, customer user experience and search management.
- Responsible for day to day operations of the PIM systems to meet department needs.
- Perform on-site and remote analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex system issues for end-users, and recommend/implement corrective solutions.
- Work with internal stakeholders to establish KPIs and related metrics for new products and the site redesign.
- Work with User Experience partners to understand and monitor end user behavior and strive to continually improve user experience.
- Develop overall test strategy to validate end state solution and facilitate user acceptance.
- Establish use cases, test plans, and coordinate testing across impacted groups.
- Responsible to support UAT/beta testing activities and participate in pre-launch and post launch activities.
Education
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, engineering, science, math or related field / equivalent work experience. MS or MBA a plus.
Experience:
- 7-10 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or related occupation.
- Experience must involve conducting discovery, planning and financial analysis, retrieving and analyzing large and complex data sets; working cross-functionally with marketing, engineering, designers, product managers, and project management counterparts to deliver digital products or services.
- Skilled at using Jira and agile principles.
- Demonstrated experience conceptualizing, building, or substantially modifying a large-scale information management system preferably geared towards a B2B customer.
- Demonstrated experience and expertise with product information management platforms (inRiver a plus).
- Understanding of the full MarTech stack & AdTech concepts.
- Knowledge of modern technologies and software development practices and patterns.
- Strong analytical and team leadership skills.
- Background in systems/software development and successfully managing products through entire life cycle, from inception to launch.
- Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes and gain team member and stakeholder buy in.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to explain technical considerations, alternatives, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical business representatives.
- Comfortable with foundational cloud and data technologies, such as: HTML/CSS, API s, service topologies across private and public cloud, web design software (Zeplin, Adobe, etc.), service-oriented architecture and data integrations.
- Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment.
