HTI is seeking a Planner for a brand-new multi-metal recycling startup in Augusta, GA. Aurubis is the leading provider of non-ferrous metals and one of the largest copper recyclers worldwide. What You Need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 4 years experience in production planning and scheduling, including experience with production scheduling software
- Problem solving skills and ability to identify and address scheduling conflicts
- Manufacturing industry knowledge
- Forecasting and inventory management experience
What Your Role Will Look Like:
- Creating and maintaining production schedules to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products to customers
- Reviewing and coordinating work orders to ensure timely completion
- Working cross-functionally to ensure production schedules align with customer demand, inventory levels, and production capacity
- Monitoring inventory levels and production capacity to ensure production schedules are realistic and achievable
- Ensuring safety and compliance regulations are upheld
- Conducting training and provide guidance to production staff to ensure adherence to established schedules and procedures
