DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Perform general bookkeeping duties, including posting information to Quick Books Online (QBO) in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate and communicate with employees, vendors, and customers to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
- Pay debts as they come due for payment, including necessary bills as well as supplier, vendor invoices and credit card accounts via check, ACH payment or other payment method(s) that may be utilized by the company. Ensure that all payments are made in a timely manner.
- Prepare the entry of credit card expense transactions into QBO in a timely and accurate manner.
- Obtain necessary vendor information (including W-9 tax forms) from new vendors, maintain the vendor files information within QBO and maintain the 'authorized purchasers' information (including account cards if used for the account) for all vendor accounts.
- Prepare credit application information as requested/needed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Perform reconciliations of bank/credit/vendor accounts on a regular (at least monthly, however, for electronic 'Bank Feed' accounts, these accounts should be reviewed daily) basis to ensure accuracy.
- Make deposits, record cash receipts into QBO and ensure the proper application of receipts in the appropriate QBO account(s) register(s) in a timely manner.
- Maintain an organized and streamlined accounting system and records (both physical and/or digital).
- Prepare financial reports/schedules as requested by management
- Provide administrative support to management when required.
- Prepare BOH BBC Transfers & Wire Requests as requested by management
- Notarize documents (if notary is applicable)
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 1-2 years of bookkeeping experience;
- Excellent computer skills, communication, analytical, organizational and time management skills
- Quickbooks Online Advance/Plus
- Excellent attention to detail
- Candidate must submit a resume including references and salary requirements
- Must be willing to do duties for multiple companies
- College degree
- Payroll experience
- Project Management Software
- Construction Accounting experience highly desired
