We are an educational organization dedicated to cultivating the next generation of innovators and are currently seeking enthusiastic STEM Program Instructors in the Irvine area of California. This position involves teaching students in grades 4 through 10 in areas such as programming, computer engineering, digital design, and mechanical structures.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement innovative curriculum plans that inspire an interest in STEM fields.
Guide students in using various software and tools for project development, including but not limited to programming languages, 3D modeling software, and robotics technologies.
Oversee student projects to ensure a safe and exploratory learning environment.
Assess student progress and provide regular feedback.
Maintain effective communication with parents and schools to share students' learning progress and achievements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field; Master's degree preferred.
At least 1 year of relevant teaching experience; prior experience teaching grades 4-10 is a plus.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C ).
Experience with 3D modeling software and/or robotics technologies.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse group of students.
Appropriate teaching certification for California.
