Job Description
Hubbell, Inc. is looking for a Tool and Die Maker to join our team in South Bend, IN.
Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, tooling plans, and work instructions to determine the correct size and type of dies for the production of tools and dies.
- Use a variety of dies to make various sizes of holes for rivets, screws, bolts, etc.
- Read drawings to determine the correct size and type of dies needed for the production of tools and dies.
- Operate various sized dies to make holes for rivets, screws, bolts, etc.
- Operate various sized lathes to make holes for rivets, screws, bolts, etc.
- Operate various sized presses to make holes for screws, bolts, etc.
- Clean and maintain dies and other metal equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
- Ability to operate various sized lathes and grinders.
- Ability to operate various sized presses.
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $38.40 per hour

- Electrical discharge machining: 1 year (Preferred)
