Position Overview
Perform a variety of purchasing tasks to support the procurement of goods, services, and supplies to help ensure the uninterrupted production at the Greenville Alabama location. Will interact daily with numerous intercompany departments as well as vendors/suppliers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Enter purchase requisitions and blanket orders
- Monitor and track shipments and deliveries
- Expedite deliveries as required
- Distribute small packages
- Post accurate and timely goods receipts
- Resolve receiving, posting, and invoicing errors
Skills and Experience
- Self-starter with excellent follow-up and organizational skills
- Flexible to shifting priorities; accuracy mandatory
- Ability to communicate effectively and work harmoniously with a diverse group of people
- Analytical with the ability to make informed decisions
