Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to lead our supply chain operations. This role is responsible for overseeing sourcing, procurement, production planning, and service metrics, as well as sourcing metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to achieve the best terms and conditions.
  • Oversee production planning processes to ensure optimal use of resources and timely delivery of products.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and operations teams to drive and align production schedules with demand forecasts and SIOP process.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with overall business objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with Business Unit management regarding status, goals, and countermeasures through detailed KPI's.
  • Monitor and analyze service metrics to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service performance.
  • Track and report on key sourcing metrics, including cost savings, supplier performance, and compliance with procurement policies.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and drive initiatives to achieve sourcing goals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the supply chain organization.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources to develop succession planning strategies, ensuring leadership continuity and role fulfillment.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions in the supply chain, supplier performance issues, and changes in market conditions.
  • Develop and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and adherence to financial targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • A master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 10 years in a leadership role in a supervisory position.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing, procurement, production planning, and service metrics.
  • SAP experience is required.
