Proposed Schedule: 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday. This is a hybrid position and requires 1-2 days in our administrative building located in Queensbury, NY.
Position Summary:
The 340B Analyst Lead works under the direct supervision of the Director of 340B Compliance to help ensure program integrity, efficiency, and value of HHHN’s 340B Program. The 340B Analyst Lead assists the Director of 340B Compliance in monitoring systems and processes throughout HHHN to ensure 340B program compliance and improve quality. Analyze referral prescription volume and inclusion, single pharmacy manufacturer designation, purchasing, accumulations, and overall 340B program prescriptions inclusion for optimization. Continuously monitors 340B data and purchases to ensure Integrity and optimization. An integral Compliance team member, the 340B Analyst Lead, contributes and attends to other needs in the department as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop a thorough understanding of the 340B Program, as it works for the Network, and improve the overall efficiency, value, and internal support of the 340B Program.
- Assess opportunities for cost savings and system improvements to yield higher compliance.
- Monitor to ensure that the 340B pharmacy program complies with 340B federal regulations and the Drug Supply Chain Security Act.
- Expand professional development through related classes and seminars, current publications, and regional/national association membership participation (NACHC).
- Monitor to ensure 340B program integrity and maintain accurate records documenting compliance with all 340B Program requirements.
- Prepare and assist in monitoring, tracking, and reporting measurements to ensure compliance with the program.
- Prepare and assist in the monitoring and reporting measurements to ensure the quality and integrity of the 340B Program.
- Evaluate and implement cost savings opportunities.
- Construct appropriate financial metrics to assess areas of improvement.
- Develop and update 340B Program reporting packages detailing volume, financial value, and other reporting metrics as needed.
- Review and refine monthly 340B cost savings reports detailing purchasing and replacement practices and dispensing patterns.
- Oversee all aspects of the inventory purchasing process for applicable pharmacies.
- Manages and provides oversight of external stakeholders, including existing contracts and supplier relations.
- Monitor ordering processes, integrating the most current pricing from wholesalers.
- Analyze invoices, shipping, and inventory processes.
- Model invoicing data for database integration.
- Implement and maintain oversight of a 340B purchasing database and dashboard.
- Comply with all track-and-trace legal requirements of the Drug Supply Chain Security Act to purchase and distribute drug products.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the third-party administrator systems and the functions to be performed.
- Cooperates and assists with other compliance department needs as directed.
- Assists in the creation of quarterly presentations and communication tools as needed.

- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to perform the essential functions:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in Business administration, finance, accounting, supply chain management, or another related field.

Professional work experience preferred.
- Minimum of one (5) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, Buyer, Analyst, or Auditor.
- Preferred two (5) years of experience in progressively advanced analytic and project leadership roles in healthcare or equivalent advanced education.
- A 340B Apexus Certified Expert (ACE) is preferred.
- Excellent computer and communication skills required
- Knowledge of database management principles preferred
- Electronic medical records experience is a plus
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong organizational skills, project management skills, and attention to detail.
The pay range for this position is $35-38/hour depending on experience and credentials.
