Retail Store Manager

Hudson's Video Games Daytona - Store Manager

We are seeking driven managers to apply for an opportunity to grow with Hudson's Video Games! Our store is a retro video game store where we buy, sell and trade retro and new video games, consoles and accessories as well as toys, figures and collectibles.

Duties:

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring efficient and effective functioning
- Train and develop store staff to provide excellent customer service
- Manage inventory levels and ensure proper stock replenishment
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to drive sales growth
- Create and execute promotional activities to increase customer traffic and sales
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Conduct employee orientations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Manage cash register operations and perform cash handling duties

- Manage listing, packing and tracking of online sales through eBay and Amazon.

- Familiar with google office suite of applications, like google sheets and google drive.

- Able to organize and alphabetize games and cases.

- Perform regular audits of in store and online inventory.

Skills:

- Strong training and development skills to effectively train and develop store staff
- Multilingual abilities to communicate with a diverse customer base
- Excellent selling skills to drive sales and meet targets
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers, employees, and vendors
- Proficient in shift management to ensure smooth store operations during different shifts
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems for efficient transaction processing
- Experience in employee orientation and onboarding processes
- Cash register management skills for accurate cash handling
- Sales management experience to drive sales growth and achieve targets
- Store management experience to oversee all aspects of store operations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 36 per week
