Department: Engineering, Architecture, Manufacturing Instructor-Construction Technology HV-FAC-8918 Full-Time Probationary MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Certification in Construction from an accredited institution and 3 years of experience in the Construction industry. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Associate degree in a Construction related field. Experience teaching/mentoring construction in any setting. Teaching online or hybrid classes at the college or high school level. DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide classroom instruction in Construction lab and lecture rooms. Evaluate student performance and complete assessments as required by the Collaborate with colleagues on course and program development as well as transfer course Participate in departmental, division wide, and/or college wide At the direction of the Department Chairperson, faculty shall perform duties as specified in the Faculty The Salary for this position is $48,981.00. This is a 10-month position (151 workdays). In addition to the baseline salary, there is the potential for additional compensation through voluntary overload teaching.
