Applications are being accepted for a registry of Part Time Athletic Trainers HV-NTP-42023 on the Non-Teaching Professional staff for the Department of Athletics.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Prospective candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, NATABOC Certification, Licensed or eligible to be licensed to practice in New York State.
DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES: Part Time Athletic Trainers report to the Head Athletic Trainer and perform the following duties:
• Assists the head athletic trainer in providing athletic training service to all athletic teams; attends athletic events when possible and staff the training room for treatment of athletic injuries.
• Assists the athletic trainer with keeping precise records of all injuries and treatments to student-athletes.
• Assists the athletic trainer in counseling coaches and student-athletes on proper conditioning, rehabilitation, and safety measures.
• Attends home athletic contests as assigned
There are multiple part-time positions available with an hourly rate of $35.00.
