EWC Growth is hiring a Center/General Manager as a full time permanent role in Old Town Chicago, IL.
Job Title: Center Manager
Reports To: Area Manager or District Manager
Status: Salaried Exempt
Base salary: $50K bonus (average total comp $60-75K annually)
The prime responsibility of the Center Manager is to lead, coach and develop their team, manage operations, and ensure all EWCG Core Values are consistently applied.
EWC Growth is a European Wax Center franchisee with 47 locations in CT, FL, IL, MA, and NY. Essential Functions
- Understand, believe in, and represent EWC Growth and European Wax Centers Mission, Vision, and Values
- Develop a thorough understanding of European Wax Center services and products
- Responsible for meeting and maintaining specific Center KPI’s
- Promote and implement new products, services, and initiatives
- Create daily/monthly goals for the center and its associates
- Maintain proper inventory levels and submit orders in a timely manner
- Audit guest charge disputes and submit evidence for chargebacks
- Audit EFT payments and contact guests to collect past due balance
- Interview, hire, and train new associates as needed and in a timely manner
- Schedule associates, maintain payroll budget and manage time off requests
- Cultivate a positive work environment that increases productivity and reduces turnover.
- Master the Guest Service Associate role and leading by example.
- Supervise, motivate, develop, and coach associates in the moment, and as needed.
- Complete weekly deposit and maintain cash balances of register and register change
- Ensure center and staff are current on all licensure, training, and documentation in accordance with state/federal/franchisor/company regulations
- Conduct monthly and quarterly associate reviews, monthly Strut Team Meetings, and quarterly workshops
- Handle all guest issues that arise in a timely manner and be solution oriented.
- Follow all EWCG policies and procedures and always provide an exceptional guest experience.
- Ensure compliance to company standards per the Associate Handbook.
- Ensure all areas of the Center, including storage room and desk are neat, clean, organized and operating to company standard.
- Follow all safety standards to ensure a safe work environment.
Requirements
- Significant experience in a leadership role (Health and Beauty services management preferred)
- Experience with P&L management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day. The associate must frequently lift and/or move items over 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
