Contract Analyst

Bright Event Rentals is hiring a Contract Analyst to work out of their Torrance, CA location. This is a full time, permanent role with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite/ 2 remote). Location preference is Torrance, CA, but would be open to someone residing in Thousand Oaks or San Diego area. 
 

Bright Event Rentals, a member of the Trivest portfolio of companies, is a leader in the full-service event rental industry. Bright provides high-quality special event rental equipment and planning services to caterers, event planners, resorts, universities, award shows, corporate clients, and wedding planners throughout California, Arizona, and Texas. We operate from eight locations in California, Arizona, and Texas with 1,000 team members.

We are seeking a highly organized and versatile individual to join our team as a Contract and Corporate Analyst. This role encompasses various responsibilities, including contract management, database management, and legal assistance. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in handling contracts, corporate tasks, and managing databases efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Select, and implement a contract management system, overseeing user setup, administration, and workflows.
• Collaborate with the Legal team, IT department, and internal users to enhance the contract management system.
•  Draft, review, and revise standard contracts (e.g., NDAs, consultant agreements) with minimal attorney supervision.
• Prepare corporate documents such as resolutions and certificates and assist with corporate transactions.
• Handle various corporate filings and interface with internal departments and outside counsel.
• Process legal invoices, organize legal documents, and assist with litigation matters.

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3-8 years of experience in a similar legal role with extensive contract experience
• Paralegal Certificate preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
