IFG - Retail Sales Associate-Fort Myers

We’re hiring a Retail Sales Associate in Fort Myers, FL! In this role, you will be responsible for all in-house sales activities and sales associate job duties. This includes working with established customers, answering questions, helping, suggesting items, lending opinions, and continuously gaining product knowledge. There is the opportunity to grow in this role to bring in more B2B customers as needed! We need a Retail Sales Associate that is ready to take lead and have the customers’ needs in mind. This position pay $15 per hour. 

Retail Associate Responsibilities:

• provide a positive shopping experience for customers
• be aware of subtle customer cues and respond appropriately
• expand knowledge of products so that customer questions can be properly addressed
• assist in receiving and processing product shipments
• prepare and display new merchandise
• Answer phones and assist with customer inquiries
• maintain a standard of cleanliness in the store by following set guidelines
• work with a team to create and maintain a pleasant environment for shoppers and staff​​​​​​ 

• excellent interpersonal skills, including having an approachable and friendly manner
• good time and task management skills, including prioritizing and changing tasks easily
• a positive attitude

Physical demands:

• · This position involves continuous moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, stooping, kneeling, and standing.
• · May be required to lift, reach, handle, and move products weighing up to 50 lbs.
• · Maintain/assist showroom displays and maintain a showroom is clean, orderly, and safe condition
