An ophthalmic tester has various imaging and testing they perform to help the technicians and doctors complete the necessary eye exam. They also assist in rooming of the patients to help patient flow and obtain tests for doctors once patient is seen if additionally needed.
This job can be perfect for a student looking for part-time and/or someone who is willing to start in this position and learn to be an ophthalmic technician.
Required education is High School Diploma or GED.
