Hughes has an exciting opportunity for a Business Process Software Programmer/Analyst. This position will be located at our headquarters in Germantown, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and govern software application solutions using Business Process Management (BPM) tools.
- Identify common use cases using fit-for-purpose analysis to ensure maximum value and minimum risk.
- Implement application solutions that include modern user interface (UI) design and user experience (UX) best practices, complex integration interfaces and services to push and pull data, and sophisticated orchestration for enterprise process and workflow management.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree required
- 5 + years of industry experience
- 3 + years of experience as Programmer Analyst/Software Engineer using SQL and reporting tools Tableau, Crystal reports, or equivalent
- 2 + years of experience with BPM, including; Desktop and Web Process Designer, Business Process Model Notation (BPMN), Coach UI design, development and testing (Spark UI / BPM UI Toolkit framework), Data and service modeling, REST APIs using JSON, SOAP Web Services using WSDLs and XLM, Error handling and exception reporting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in BPM best practices
- Architecture experience for workflow and process software solutions, including System Context, Component Model, System and Application Integration Standards, Microservices and Service Oriented Architecture, Architectural Layer Design (Infrastructure, Data, Integration, Application, Presentation)
- Certification in Agile-based BPM delivery methodology, including Scrum, Sprint iterations, Capacity and velocity analysis, Playback, Retrospective, Deployment
- Practical hands on experience in process transformation and improvement
- Full BPM implementation lifecycle experience, pilot to production
- Understand client-side and server-side design time and run time execution
- Consultative role in implementation of projects to deliver solutions to Business Users
