Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for commercial concrete projects.
• Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine construction requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to assess project scope and identify potential issues.
• Obtain and evaluate quotes from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Create comprehensive cost analyses and take-offs, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead.
• Coordinate with vendors to acquire necessary materials and ensure timely delivery to project sites.
• Evaluate project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project-related documentation.
• Provide ongoing support to project teams, including assisting in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to concrete estimation and construction.

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Commercial Concrete Estimator or a similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of commercial concrete construction methods, materials, and techniques.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and blueprints.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in using construction estimation software and tools.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
