Buyer/Planner

Human Active Technology is a rapidly growing designer and manufacturer of monitor mounting solutions as well as other ergonomic office products, including height adjustable tables and computer monitor arms, with a large and varied worldwide customer base. We specialize in custom manufacturing and pride ourselves in creative solutions and superior quality. We’re headquartered in Easton, Pa with offices and showrooms located in Santa Clara (CA), New York City, Chicago and Denmark.

We are actively seeking a "Planner/Buyer" who will plan and schedule Order planning and purchasing activities to meet customer requirements while assuring a continuous production flow through capacity planning for various parts of our business.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the daily, weekly and monthly planning processes for various parts of our business.

2. Provide lead time and ship dates for product when needed and provide strategic guidance to departments when required

3. Plan and schedule supplier purchase orders and container supply, while maintaining stocking levels to ensure a continuous supply of products to support demand.

4. Forecast and Maintain Safety Stock Levels for Stocking & Project business utilizing ERP system.

5. Proactively manage backorders

6. Release job orders to kitting department.

7. Participate in daily production planning meeting as needed.

8. Manage Inventory levels to maintain Lead Times, while keeping an Inventory Level that is within Corporate Inventory Guidelines.

9. Evaluate Large orders for purchase complete opportunities to maintain Production capacity

10. Evaluate and pursue opportunities for slow moving and obsolete product, take corrective actions where applicable to mitigate inventory inflation.

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree- Business or equivalent work experience. Bachelors in business or Supply Chain preferred.
• Two years in manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of MRP Preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
