Construction Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Manage weekly and monthly meetings on project activities, resources, equipment and information
- Responsible for effective cost analyzes, review invoices, and change orders for pay applications
- Work closely with estimating team to provide high quality documentations for the appropriate recipients.
- Coordinates, directs, and monitors activities of construction management staff, contractors, engineers, architects, and related performing entities
- Review and provide guidance on RFI’s process and other customer-facing activities.
- Negotiate and write all sub-contracts
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
- Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contracts and terms of agreement)
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
- Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Project Manager or similar role
- 5 years of experience in construction field as a project engineer, Asst. Project Manager or Estimator in the Multi-family construction space
- Experience in project management, from conception to delivery
- An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and PM web project management software, Adobe Acrobat
- Frequently project site is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Project management: 3 years (Preferred)
- Construction Project Managers: 1 year (Preferred)
