Salary: $17.58 - $23.86 Per Hour (Dependent Upon Experience)*$2,000 Sign on bonus for all qualifying individual's*

DUTIES:

- The employment specialist position primarily works directly with program consumers to develop competitive employment positions with employers in the community that are suitable to the needs and desires of consumers.

- Coordinates and/or provides training for career development.

- Provides long-term supports as needed to program consumers to help them maintain employment and mental health.

- This position will be based out of HDC's Duluth CSP building and will serve St. Louis County. Coordinates with inter-disciplinary team consisting of Case Managers, ARMHS Providers, Therapists, Psychiatrists, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University.

- OR High School Diploma/GED and 1-2 years related direct experience and/or training

- OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in mental health, social services, or human services working with diverse populations.

- Experience providing MFIP services and working knowledge of local businesses and job market.

- Demonstrated ability in navigating social service resources, networking with business professionals, and effectively working on a team.
