Senior Network Engineer - ZScaler

Description Humana is seeking a Senior Network Engineer who will be responsible for providing operational support for Humana's enterprise network which spans across multiple lines of business from government, retail clinics and pharmacies, distribution centers to the traditional corporate campus and datacenters. The primary responsibility of the Senior Network Engineer will be to provide the highest quality network infrastructure environment support which includes management and troubleshooting of network solutions including routers, firewalls, switches, appliances, and cloud native network and security solutions. Responsibilities Humana is seeking a Senior Network Engineer who will be responsible for providing operational support for Humana's enterprise network which spans across multiple lines of business from government, retail clinics and pharmacies, distribution centers to the traditional corporate campus and datacenters. The primary responsibility of the Senior Network Engineer will be to provide the highest quality network infrastructure environment support which includes management and troubleshooting of network solutions including routers, firewalls, switches, appliances, and cloud native network and security solutions. Required Qualifications: 5 years of experience designing, deploying, maintaining, and improving wired, wireless, and complex High Availability Data Center Networks, Hybrid and Multi cloud Networks. 2 years’ experience with ZScaler Products, especially ZScaler Private Access Familiarity with ZScaler policies, application profiles, and app Connectors Ability lead and drive incident-based calls Support the elimination of existing datacenter dependencies to enable cloud/fastest-path access (i.e., VPN, Web Proxy, etc...) Advanced knowledge and experience with networking technologies (load balancing, VPN, ACL, NAT, DNS, NetFlow) End-User device connectivity architecture & implementations Connectivity solutions for supporting a hybrid cloud strategy. Remote user network end-point technology. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Azure DevOps Familiarity with ServiceNow Enterprise scale migrations of users to ZPA Enterprise scale management of the ZScaler Client Connector Programming/scripting languages and frameworks knowledge and experience, in support of automation (Python, Ansible, etc.) Familiarity with cloud architecture network designs, implementations, and support (AWS, Azure, GCP) Work at Home Guidance To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense. Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
