Humana is building a best-in-class Marketing organization to drive profitable membership growth across diverse business lines. The Communications Hub team is a part of Humana’s Marketing & Communications organization, supporting marketing initiatives across the full consumer lifecycle. Having a solid foundation of capabilities and operational efficiencies that are modern & platforms-based is imperative to executing efficient and effective marketing strategies across all insurance segments (i.e. Medicare, Medicaid, Individual Specialty and Employer Group) and healthcare services segments (i.e. Pharmacy, Clinical, Home and CDO).
The Cloud Technology Lead will lead the design, development, and implementation of marketing technology solutions to meet business needs. This role provides leadership and oversight to manage performance and results in one or more Information Technology (IT) disciplines. Individuals will be accountable for the reliability, performance, security, and continuity of IT systems and supported business processes
Responsibilities
Oversee development of applications in Cloud technologies. Drive architecture and design sessions of Cloud applications.
Act as technical leader, mentor the team in Cloud technologies.
Able to correctly configure Cloud environment for development and production.
Own delivery tasks from initial scoping, planning, and requirements analysis, through to design, development, testing, and deployment.
Establish and drive technology roadmaps that align with current and future business needs.
Monitor reliability and health of the technology platforms and manage delivery capabilities to increase stability, speed, and overall performance.
Implement best practices for software development and DevOps standards.
Oversee development of processes and tools to automate code releases from development to operations (DevOps).
Work with scrum and agile leaders to identify project risks and plan mitigation actions.
Manage third party technical and outsourcing relationships to deliver project and operational support objectives.
Lead by example by emulating behaviors consistent with the new ways of working and Humana’s values.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Hands on experience working on Cloud components like Azure App Service, Azure SQL DB, Azure VM’s, Pipelines or AWS equivalents.
Must have Microsoft Azure/AWS Cloud Developer certification or higher
Proven experience with various web technologies including backend technologies, preferably using .NET, C#, and SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
Expert understanding of security for cloud applications, Cloud security, cloud capacity planning, notification, monitoring, and logging
Experience in Designing applications to run on Kubernetes
Familiarity with Dynatrace, Splunk, terraform, Github Actions.
3 or more years of leadership experience with a strong track record of on-time delivery for large, cross-functional projects.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, limited resources, and tight deadlines; excellent leadership, delegation, and organizational skills to plan, prioritize, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Solid expertise and experience with requirements management methods and tools (e.g., requirements analyses, specifications, modeling, reviews, etc.)
Strong team leader and problem solver with the ability to lead the team to push the solution and progress, formulating and achieving measured goals.
Strong analytical capabilities; experience using techniques like cost-benefit analysis for feature prioritization.
Experience with Agile Scrum and/or SAFE (Scaled Agile Framework).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across varying levels of personnel.
Preferred Qualifications
Six Sigma Certified
MBA or other Advanced Degree

Additional Information
Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.
Work-At-Home Requirements
All Humana associates approved for the Home or Hybrid Home/Office work styles are required to self-provide wireless, wired cable or DSL access to the internet at the connectivity speeds required by the company to successfully perform their job with the exception of associates who live or work from home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Connectivity requirements are detailed below.

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to support Humana applications, per associate.
Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership.
Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
