Responsibilities
The Correspondence Representative 2 makes reimbursement policy and process recommendations and ensures compliance with government regulations. Analyzes provider reimbursement patterns and trends. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience using multiple system platforms and split screens simultaneously
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Word, and Outlook, basic understanding of Excel
- Excellent communication skills to include writing, speaking, listening, providing or accepting feedback, and team building
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Commitment to preserving confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare environment
- Claims processing experience
- Experience using Mentor documents
- Experience working in CAS and/or MTV
- Contract Information System (CIS) experience
Required Work Schedule
- Virtual Training will start day one of employment and run the first 8 weeks with a schedule of 8am - 4:30pm EST, Monday - Friday. Attendance is vital for success, so no time off is allowed during training.
- Flexible schedule may be considered once training is complete and metrics, performance targets are met. Leader will discuss during interview.

Work at Home Requirements
WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
