The Primary Care Organization is seeking an experienced EMR Migration Leader to spearhead the integration of electronic medical records (EMR) systems for newly acquired medical practices. The EMR Integration Leader will conduct due diligence to ensure the reliability of information provided by potential acquisition target, form integration strategy in collaboration with executive leadership team, and manage EMR integration through go live support phase.

               

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end EMR migration process for acquired medical practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including executive leaders, IT, medical staff, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration.
• Develop and execute detailed migration plans, considering timelines, resources, and potential challenges.
• Leverage solid business process understanding to form migration and integration strategies.
• Assess and optimize data quality during the migration process to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide guidance to training and support staff regarding nuances of each migration as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions during the migration and go-live support phases, at times after hours.
• Stay up to date of industry trends and best practices related to EMR systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration; master’s degree preferred.
• Strong executive presence, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
• 3 years’ experience in EMR system migrations, with a proven track record of successful implementations.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Vendor management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of leading EMR solutions and interfaced systems.
• Understanding of healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

This is a Remote Position, however, there is a small travel component, of up to 25%, to visit clinics in the markets, as needed, or for team meetings

• Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
