CenterWell is seeking a technical leader for our Solution Architecture Team responsible for the technology strategy of our Home Delivery Pharmacy.
Responsibilities
As a thought leader and change agent, the Lead Solutions Architect will be responsible for creating and driving the technical strategy within a complex and multi-faceted healthcare system. You will partner with Operational and IT partners to craft scalable, flexible, and resilient architectures that provide solutions that simplify the experience of our customers by abstracting the inherent complexities of healthcare.
You will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to drive our business into the future. In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to be adept at interacting, communicating, and partnering with other teams and Senior-level leaders across CenterWell.
As a Lead Solution Architect, you will:
Convert business and technical requirements into technology solutions
Consider the art of the possible, compare various architectural options based on feasibility and impact, and propose actionable plans
Assess and manage multiple technical challenges simultaneously
Anticipate project issues and risks before they occur, and work with teammates to identify and implement solutions or mitigations with relevant stakeholders
Balance what is strategically right with what is practically realistic
Model collaborative behaviors with a willingness to share ideas, documentation, and leading practices
Effectively communicate solutions, ideas, suggestions to a variety of stakeholders effectively and comprehensibly
Possess a deep understanding of Application, Infrastructure, and security architecture and non-functional aspects like Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Availability, etc.
Possess a deep understanding of latest cloud computing and data technologies, business drivers, emerging computing trends, and deployment options
Have a history of defining, designing, and developing distributed and scalable products and services using cloud technologies
Demonstrate conceptual and analytical thinking – ability to extract, analyze, and document complex business and technical requirements/strategies
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
8 years of progressive information technology experience directly related to architecture/engineering, information security, or other specialized technology field
2 or more years of leading technical engineering teams including management of a delivery team and applications
Experienced people leader focused on building a diverse and passionate team
Track record of results-oriented delivery and ability to deliver upon operational excellence and capability enablement
Experience with agile development and strong DevOps culture.
Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leadersMust be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Work-At-Home Requirements
All Humana associates approved for the Home or Hybrid Home/Office work styles are required to self-provide wireless, wired cable or DSL access to the internet at the connectivity speeds required by the company to successfully perform their job with the exception of associates who live or work from home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Connectivity requirements are detailed below.
Connectivity – Requirement Details
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to support Humana applications, per associate.
Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership.
Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
