Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Animal Care Technicians (in both Cats and Dogs), to join our team. As an Animal Technician, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to animals in our facility. Must meet the following criteria: Ability to work quickly and efficiently; proven ability to quickly assess situations and determine level of urgency. Good verbal communication skills with co-workers and the public. Attention to detail and excellent follow through on required steps in a process. A quick learner and desire to expand animal care knowledge. Ability to problem solve and work cooperatively in a team environment; affection for animals and concern for their welfare. Ability to accommodate varied work assignments and schedules; reliable and dependable, yet flexible. Physical strength and ability to lift, assist, and carry objects and animals. Must be able to work weekends and Holidays. Principal Duties: Feed and care for animals with strong attention to detail regarding each pet's medical and behavioral plan. Clean Animal housing areas according to established protocols. Assist in animal socialization and enrichment, including but not limited to preparing and dispensing enrichment; one on one time, play time, walking, and participating in training and behavior modification under the direction of staff or manager. .
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
