- Salary: $120,000 - $140,000/year (plus $10K sign on!)
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily laboratory operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to protocols.
- Manage laboratory staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures and proficiency testing.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and inventory management.
- Foster collaboration with healthcare professionals for effective communication.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and education to enhance staff competence.
- Maintain accurate documentation, confidentiality, and data integrity.
- Continuously evaluate processes and implement improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field (Master's preferred).
- Relevant certification or licensure required.
- 5 years of relevant hospital experience.
- In-depth knowledge of laboratory procedures, regulations, and quality assurance.
