In our Intelligent Analytics practice, we help our clients prioritize their trade promotion and assortment strategies in store, so they can reach the right buyers and maximize sales. Using statistical models, we figure out the best strategies for our clients to promote in stores and make their products stand out among competitors.
- The primary role of the Intelligent Analytics Delivery Analyst position is to manage and coordinate projects, evaluate and conduct analysis as well as build deliverables for assigned solution area(s). Associates will primarily focus on one solution; solutions include Revenue Management and Assortment & Merchandising.
- Drive Client Value
- Coordinating modeling including proper setup, QC, and validation of models
- Ensuring analysis results are of high quality from a statistical and a business logic viewpoint
- Providing error-free, on-time results internally through the process and to clients
- Working consultatively and creatively with clients and Nielsen teams
- Be a Team Player
- Escalation of concerns/issues to Delivery Consultants and/or Principal in a timely and productive manner when needed
- Participating in analytic communities that create and promote the development of best practices and thought leadership
- Actively participating in and identifying opportunities for efficiencies, automation, standardization and ways to simplify processes in modeling and deliverable development
Required Experience:
- College/University Undergraduate Degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; comfortable with formulas, pivot tables and macros
- Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience with project management; ability to move tasks along their timeline proactively, providing updates to the project team, while managing multiple priorities
- Critical thinking; have the ability to identify and diagnose errors/issues independently
