Join our Financial reporting, tax and control team
The financial reporting, tax and control team has grown recently in response to the demands of a fast-growing business and increasingly demanding control and governance environment. Led by the Group Financial Controller who reports into the Chief Financial Officer, the team sit alongside and work closely with the commercial finance team and other areas of business operations

The successful candidate will be responsible for taking the tax function to the next level, improving controls and compliance across the tax spectrum, providing valuable tax insight to the rest of the business, and ensuring the team is right sized for the requirements of the business. With an established and relatively straightforward UK Tax set up, a growing proportion of this role will be focussed on our growing multinational operations and the tax compliance of those operations.
As a Tax Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Management of the UK corporation tax function, which is currently outsourced
- Build relationships with external UK and Multinational tax advisory teams
- Own the CCM relationship with HMRC
- Take the lead on straight forward UK tax accounting and reporting requirements
- Support and improve responses to tax evasion risk across the organisation
- Review and improve processes around the VAT return, Intrastat & EC Sales list reporting
What we need from you
- An accounting or tax qualification (ACCA/ACA/ICAS/CTA)
- Experience of working in either in house or UK top tier practice
- An interest in multinational, systems and indirect taxes
- Excellent written, verbal, communication and thought skills
- Desire to work in a fast paced and often ambiguous environment
- A confident individual with good levels of judgement and pragmatism, comfortable working within a commercial environment with senior members of the business

Salary : $51,000 - $64,500
