JOB SCOPE

Support operations including the technical operations, construction, and preventative maintenance. Lead and Direct project planning, capital budgeting and assist with business plan development. Ensure a high degree of cross functional communication and participation in line with product deployment and support.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for providing direction and oversight for all Inside Plant Operations.
- Lead a structured and disciplined work team to produce exceptional results delivering the customer experience.
- Ensure oversight of designated inside plant operations which include facilities, powering, cooling, cabling, TVRO, FCC Compliance and provide direct hands on support for other network operations teams for all Headends and Hubs are to company standards.
- Provide engineering operational support and direction for new or existing technologies and current operational initiatives.
- Evaluate and consult with Corporate levels of leadership regarding technical operations, strategic planning, construction, system techs and network operations.
- Ensure compliance with quality control programs for inside plant operations and consistent operational procedures.
- Lead and direct capital budget process for ISP, execute approved budget plan.
- Ensure current procedures and tests are performed in accordance with Charter Policy and Federal Communication Commission Standards.
- Oversee and ensure the maintenance of records as required by Charter Policy, Federal Communications Commission and other government agencies.
- Ensure adherence to company TQA policies.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and / or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum (12) years network engineering & cable experience.
- Minimum (7) years people management experience.
- Minimum (3) years project management experience.
- SCTE-BCT/E certification or equivalent.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks and make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure.
- Advanced knowledge of all FCC compliance reports and other rules and regulations.
- Comprehensive understanding of applicable local and state rules and regulations in addition to OSHA rules and regulations, on both federal and state level.
- Comprehensive understanding of HVAC and power distribution systems.
- Knowledge of Analog Transmission Line Theory, electronic theory, Fiber Optic theory, National Electric Code and National Electric Safety Code.
- Knowledge of Federal Communications Commission regulations.
- Cable industry and vendor specific certifications and training.
