We are seeking a dedicated Freight Handler to join our team. As a Freight Handler, you will be responsible for loading and unloading freight in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently load and unload freight from trucks
- Use warehouse management systems to track and prioritize items for loading and unloading
-Manual unloading/loading
- Build and wrap pallets for shipping
- Perform order picking and packing tasks as needed
- Conduct heavy lifting as required
- Ensure accurate documentation of all handled goods
Skills:
- Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory tracking
- Experience with order picking and packing processes
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for efficient freight handling
- Knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines for warehouse operations
- Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is a plus
