Job Summary
:
To promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ through
serving as the HR Recruiter for Hume Lake Christian Camps.
The HR Recruiter will serve as the organization’s
liaison
for all recruitment activities including job postings, interviewing, coordinating department interviews, pre-
screening, onboarding, and other duties relevant to full-cycle recruiting.
The HR Recruiter will also
be responsible fo
r
assisting
the HR team with general HR duties such as
data entry, data management, file maintenance, h
iring,

erminations,

xit

nterviews,
and more.
Additionally, the HR Recruiter will manage both seasonal and permanent staff positions and will
be responsible for
position control.

Duties & Responsibilities
Conducting Job Fairs and College Fairs
Recruiting
Sourcing Candidates
Reviewing resumes
Responding to inquiries
Providing
verbal and written communication via telephone, in-person, text messaging systems and electronically.
Managing
social media
and
j
ob

Creating and Managing Job Postings
Providing
excellent customer service and an engaging candidate experience
Working directly with the HR Director and Sr. HR Generalist
regarding
candidates, status, and employees.
Maintaining and managing data,
f
iles
and systems
Large volumes of data entry
Conducting pre-screening including background checks, employment verifications, reference checks and other verifications.
Assisting
with onboarding including I-9 verifications, mandatory training and ensuring compliance.
Assisting with New Employee Orientations
Qualifications
& Requirements
:
General:
1-2 years of solid recruitment experience
.
Minimum of 1 year customer service experience.
Experience working with youth and adults from diverse backgrounds, working as a team as well as independently.
Has a sincere love for the Lord and a desire to see campers come to know and grow in Him
Ability to travel up to 40%.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
:
Ability to work in a camp setting.
Physical requirements include bending, lifting, sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking
. Hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and normal range of eyesight and hearing
required
to communicate with staff and manipulate camp equipment. Must
operate
with daily exposure to the cold, heat, rain, sun, and varying other weather conditions, as well as under irregular working hours in a camp environment. Able to lift 25-50 pounds.
