Industrial Maintenance Manager

Position Summary:
The Maintenance Manager oversees bakery operations, including production, quality control, maintenance, and sanitation. They manage personnel recruitment, training, facility upkeep, and budget planning. Collaborating with the production team, they aim to enhance productivity and profitability. Candidates should possess 7 years of manufacturing experience, focusing on both managerial and production aspects.

Essential Functions:

• Lead day-to-day facility operations.
• Collaborate with quality personnel to ensure food safety and quality standards.
• Monitor production schedules to meet inventory levels efficiently.
• Manage hiring and training of manufacturing staff.
• Ensure safety policies are adhered to.
• Develop and execute manufacturing budgets.
• Analyze workforce needs and conduct performance appraisals.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Optimize production processes to reduce waste and enhance efficiency.
• Coordinate with R&D and product management for new product strategies.
• Enhance supplier relationships with the purchasing manager.
• Adhere to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Maintain food safety and quality standards.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Education and Experience:

• 7 years of progressive leadership/management experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields; MBA preferred.
• Previous experience in safety and quality systems.
• Understanding of manufacturing principles.
• Budgeting and expense management proficiency.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and enterprise systems.
• Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees and Six Sigma certification.

Travel Requirements:
Minimal travel expected.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
