Seeking a Project Accountant to join our fast-paced accounting team in Columbia, MD. Our Project Accountants provide full cycle accounting for an assigned portfolio consisting of 15-16 properties. The successful candidate must be highly organized and able to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while meeting department deadlines.
Primary responsibilities for each property in assigned portfolio:
- Produce monthly financial statements
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Monthly/quarterly 3rd party reporting
- Maintain escrow analyses
- Assistance with budgeting, forecasting and variance reporting
- Cash management
- Produce annual audit packages and respond to audit related requests
Accounting background with familiarity in property management and/or volume financial statement preparation highly valued.
